Men’s ministry is a place where guys can develop community with others, by being built in their faith so that they can become influencers with others whether in the family, with friends, or in their neighborhoods and city. No matter where you are at with your faith - just exploring, giving faith a second try, or looking for a place to grow – we have developed something significant for you not to survive but Thrive.
Our mission and vision is simple, we want you to thrive in your relationships with others and with God as we live out our faith and make it real in front of our family, friends, church, and city.
We are developing a wide variety of involvement opportunities based on your interests and life stage.

Welcome to The Main Event! As we start a new Men’s Bible study starting Wednesday, January 10 called Romans 8: From broken to belonging. Have you ever thought your life is beyond repair or wondered if God could use your brokenness for good? We all tend to look and search for purpose in our pain and suffering. Depression, anxiety, hurting relationships, and unmet expectations can cause us to question God. In this study, we will take you on a journey through Romans 8, which many scholars believe is the greatest chapter in the Bible. Noe Garcia in our study shares his life story and experiences of abuse, depression, and overwhelming hopelessness. He reveals how God redeemed, repaired, and restored him. Through Romans 8, he'll help you understand Christ's transformative power to repurpose hurt and brokenness for your good and His glory.
Here are the Benefits you will gain from our lifegroup:
Learn to walk as a victor, not a victim.
Gain hope, peace, and a sense of purpose in your calling.
Understand that nothing can separate you from the love of Christ.
Realize that all things work together for the good of those who love God.
Gain new spiritual confidence through understanding whose you are.
We invite you to join us weekly on Wednesday nights, on a challenging but redemptive journey together with a band of brothers. The Main Event is for men of all ages who enjoy authentic friendships, reading and studying God’s word and praying together. Free snack-type foods and beverages will also be on hand. If you have any questions email Pastor Troy @ troy@cityviewsd.com or call him at 858-330-5510.
